Yesterday's San Diego Rock & Roll Marathon was amazing! 4000 TNT members for across the US & Canada were there, and we raised $12-million dollars for leukemia & lymphoma!
I completed my 13th marathon, but as I told one of the coaches, it was the stuff that preceded the marathon that I remember the most. It was my first time as a TNT Mentor, my chance to help new runners on the team and I made a lot of new friends, and had a great time training with them, then seeing them again on the marathon course, crossing the finish line.
But the adventure (and the fundraising to find a cure for blood cancer) continues! I have joined the Nike/Disneyland TNT team. Now, I'll be training for the Disneyland Half Marathon on September 5th!
