The Carlsbad Half Marathon was fun! Nice course, lots of ocean view, and a good way to warm up for the start of Team in Training! Our first training session is this Saturday @ 8am, at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Office, 9150 Chesapeake Drive in Kearny Mesa. This is my first time as a mentor, and so far I have 9 mentees to help with training and fundraising. We have a great team shaping up this year.
If you're reading this, and you haven't joined the team yet, you can take us for a "test run" this Saturday. Just show up around 7:30am, ask for me, and I'll point you in the right direction.
